Founded in 1836, the USPCA is the second oldest animal welfare charity in the world and has been dedicated to protecting animals in Northern Ireland for almost 190 years. Every day, we provide rescue, rehoming, veterinary care, grooming, rehabilitation and welfare services for animals in need. Guided by our mission to prevent cruelty, alleviate suffering and advance animal welfare through compassion and action, we strive to create a society where all animals are respected, valued and free from unnecessary suffering. As we receive no government funding, we depend on the generosity of the public through donations, food donations and volunteering to continue this vital work. Every act of support helps us give animals the care, protection and second chance they deserve.
