Growmoor 3 Plant Grow Bag, 24L

Growmoor 3 Plant Grow Bag is a ready-to-use 24L growbag for tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, cucumbers and other container crops. Use it on a windowsill, patio or in the greenhouse. The peat-based mix includes composted manures and added fertiliser to hold moisture and feed plants as they grow. The bag is marked for three plants.

How to use
Shake the bag to loosen the compost and lay it flat in its final position. Do not pierce the base if you want the bag to hold water. Cut the marked circles or slits on the top, loosen the compost inside each hole and plant one young plant in each opening. Water in well. Train plants so they have light and air. Start extra feeding after a few weeks, or when fruit begins to form, using a tomato fertiliser such as Tomorite.

Feeding guide for typical growbag use
Tomatoes under glass: start feeding when fruit on the first truss is pea sized.
Outdoor tomatoes: start feeding when fruit on the second truss is pea sized.
Peppers and aubergines: start feeding when fruit is about golf-ball size.
Cucumbers, courgettes and marrows: start feeding when picking begins.

Care
Keep the compost evenly moist. Do not let the bag dry out in hot weather. Support tall plants. Use in a frost-free place. This is a growing medium, not a food product.
