| Dog weight | Number of tablets |
|---|---|
| 8–10 kg | 1 |
| 10.1–20 kg | 2 |
For dogs over 20 kg, additional tablets or a larger pack size are required (1 extra tablet per additional 10 kg). For dogs under 8 kg use the 100 mg Size 1 product.
Give the required number of tablets first thing in the morning after overnight fasting, with approximately one-fifth of the daily food ration. Tablets must be given whole and must not be broken or divided. Withhold the remaining food ration for at least 8 hours afterwards to reduce the risk of vomiting.
Storage and safety
Store in a dry place. Do not store above 25 °C. Keep the blister strip in the outer carton.
Do not use in dogs weighing less than 8 kg (use Size 1 instead) or in puppies under 12 weeks of age. Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to nitroscanate or any excipient. Do not administer to sick or recovering animals. Do not repeat the dose if vomiting occurs shortly after treatment. This product can be an irritant to skin and eyes; avoid breaking tablets. Can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Dispose of unused product or waste in accordance with local requirements.
Always read the package leaflet and follow the dosage chart carefully. Weigh the animal accurately before dosing. If symptoms persist, consult a veterinary surgeon. Flea control helps reduce Dipylidium caninum reinfection.
