How to use

Create a loop and carefully place it over the dog’s head. Position the lead high on the neck, behind the ears, and adjust the rubber stop so the loop cannot become excessively loose. Ensure the lead is fitted comfortably and does not restrict normal breathing.

A slip lead tightens when tension is applied, so it should be used with controlled handling and without sharp or prolonged pulling. Seek advice from a qualified dog trainer if you are unfamiliar with slip leads or if your dog pulls heavily.

Inspect the rope, stop and fittings before every walk. Replace the lead if it becomes frayed, cut or damaged. Do not leave it on an unattended dog, use it as a tie-out, or allow the dog to chew it.
